PATERSON, N.J. - Paterson's new museum is now open. Its mission? To share the story of Hinchliffe Stadium.
Dr. Joseph Fulmore Sr., who has taught in Paterson for years, gave CBS New York's Nick Caloway a sneak peek at the Charles J. Muth Museum of Hinchliffe Stadium.
"I remember when I was head of Public School No. 6, Larry Doby dropped by and talked to the students," said Fulmore.
You'll find the museum right between the Great Falls of Paterson and Hinchliffe Stadium. This place is special—it's one of just two Negro League stadiums left standing.
And guess what? The stadium just got a makeover and it's all set for what's next.
